Vinyl wrap changes color and lasts 5–7 years. Color PPF changes color AND protects the paint underneath from rock chips and scratches, with self-healing properties and a 10-year warranty. Color PPF is significantly thicker, more durable, and the premium choice for Tesla owners.
Will color PPF damage my Tesla's factory paint?
No. When installed on factory paint, color PPF removes cleanly years later with no adhesive residue and no damage. In fact, the original paint is better-preserved underneath the PPF than the rest of the car.
Can I reverse it later?
Yes — color PPF is fully removable. When you're ready for a change or want to return to factory color, certified technicians can peel the film off and reveal the original paint underneath in its original condition.
How long does the install take?
Full color PPF on a Tesla is a 3–5 day install depending on the model and coverage. Stealth (matte conversion) is typically 2–3 days. We treat it as a finish-grade install, so we don't rush it.
How do I take care of color PPF?
